The bathroom in Cosy Cottage was amazing! It had both a shower and a bath, which was perfect for me. As someone with physical handicaps, having the option between the two made my stay so much more comfortable.

Personally, I found the lighting in the bathroom to be a bit dim. But hey, that's just my opinion, some people might actually enjoy the cozy ambiance it creates.

My work took me to the lovely village of Gainford, and I stayed at this beautiful cottage for a night. Martin and Kari, the hosts, truly made me feel welcome with their thoughtful gestures. The cottage itself was homely, clean, and well-furnished, and I had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed. The hosts went above and beyond, providing treats and blankets for my dog, as well as a range of essentials like milk, bread, and cereal. I was impressed with the attention to detail and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The owners of the cottage provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to find fresh bread, milk, butter, and other essentials waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and furnished, and we found it to be very clean and comfortable. The location was also a plus, with easy access to nearby attractions such as Barnard Castle and Raby Castle. the friendly hosts made us feel right at home.

Our time at the cottage had to come to an end. We had to leave and return home, which was a disappointment considering how much we enjoyed our stay.

The value for money at the cottage was incredible. The room was better than expected, with thoughtful touches and plenty of space. The location in the charming village was perfect for walks by the river. The hosts, Martin and Kari, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The nearest airport couldn't have been more perfectly inconvenient. The washing machine was a lovely addition, now I can do laundry on vacation too. And the flat-screen TV, because who doesn't want to watch TV in a cottage?

Of course, the towels were generously offered, just what I wanted to bring back home - a souvenir of another hotel's towels.

The location of the cottage was perfect, situated in a picturesque village with riverside walks nearby. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing a welcome pack of food and drinks, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The view of sheep in the field opposite added to the charm of the surroundings.

The shop in the village could have had a better selection of items.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at the cottage. The hosts went above and beyond by providing us with a lovely welcome package including fresh bread, milk, butter, coffee, tea, cereal. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel at home. the cottage's location was perfect for exploring the nearby town of Barnard Castle. We were able to easily walk there and enjoy the sights. The cottage itself was newly refurbished and very comfortable, with plenty of room for our family. We also appreciated the high standard of cleanliness.

There really wasn't anything to dislike about our stay. The only minor suggestion we have is to have a clear sign or nameplate outside the cottage for easy identification.
